Hi, I'm Marcus

I'm an engineer, and I'm curious about far too many things: how machines work, how the sky moves, and how people found their way across the world before GPS.

Every now and then I build something to help me understand one of them properly. Sometimes it's a 3D model, sometimes an animation, sometimes a page full of sliders and buttons. The V-2 rocket, its turbopump and its gyroscopes were the first. Some astronomy stuff, polar expeditions and Napoleon's campaigns are on the list.

I build these when I find the time, so new ones arrive slowly. I hope they help you understand these inventions and events as much as making them helped me.
